And I don't like the change where we can now only view filtered entries on our own friends page, or on the poster's own journal page. Granted, I don't do so often, but sometimes I'll look at the friends page of a friend, and having the filtered entries of a mutual friend not show up is going to throw me off a bit.
Anyway.. There's been several new anime shows that have started up recently. These aren't all, but here are some quick descriptions to help you decide what to check out:
Kasimasi ~Girl meets girl~ is the story about a boy who, after confessing to the girl he loves and being rejected, goes somewhere secluded to wallow in misery when he gets hit by a malfunctioning spaceship. The aliens manage to preserve his life and regenerate his body, only.. he is now a she. Hilarity ensues.
Recommended subber: KazeNoKoe fansubs & Doremi (the other team is out with a v2, which I haven't time to check out)
Kage kara Mamoru! is a ninja comedy. Mamoru and Yuuna have been together since they were little children. But no one, not even Yuuna, know that Mamoru is actually a ninja sworn to protect her. Secretly, he struggles to protect the accident-prone Yuuna from a myriad of dangers, just as his parents are protecting Yuuna's parents.
It looks like this might turn into a harem anime, as there is just the one male main characters and five females, but at least the guy isn't a pathetic loser like in most other series of this kind.
Recommended subber: None yet. ShinTabi's sub sucked horribly, OOM's sub was a lot better, but still had a few mistakes here and there.
I watched one episode of Lemon Angel Project and decided that was enough. It's about a bunch of girls in an idol group. The music is kind of catchy, and I liked some of the character designs, but I only have so much harddrive space..
Majikano didn't sit that well with me either. It seems to be about an evil magical girl.
I liked Fate stay night well enough, but it's been a few days since I watched episode 1 raw, and I don't really remember anything except that it looked pretty.
Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora seemed okay, and I might have followed it if I had the time and harddrive space required.. seemed to be a pretty generic romance, with somewhat interesting characters.
I didn't care about Kagihime Monogatari - Eikyuu Alice Rondo (a.k.a. Eternal Alice). It was just.. uh.. here, plot summary ganked from animenewsnetwork.com: "Lewis Caroll wrote two volumes about the adventures of Alice in Wonderland, but there's a rumor of a mystical third volume. In order to compile the last book, magical bunny-girl warriors do battle with eachother, stripping the defeated of pages locked inside them."
...yeah. Not my thing.
