Summer bonus~
Today's paycheck was quite a bit bigger than usual. Apparently I'm not paying taxes this time. I thought it was supposed to be half taxes sometime in the summer, but none? That has me a little confused. Anyway, I now have more money than I thought I would have. I might be able to afford both a chair and XP pro for my future laptop.
Money is more important to me than I like. When I get smacked in the face by a big, unexpected expense, I break down and cry as if the ground has been ripped out from under my feet. I feel as if I've done something wrong.
But for now, I am experiencing something deceptively similar to happiness.
