..that I won't have the ISP I'd like to have. Telenor seems pretty confident that they can deliver; they've already given me a username and password, and I received the router/modem yesterday. I'll be online on March the 11th unless I really do need someone to install it - I might have to since everything in the cabin is really old.. but installation help is rather pricey and if it's possible for any end user to hook it up at my location, I'm that user.
Having my own connection where I can configure the router is going to be so shiny. I'll have port forwarding again!! And the router is wireless in addition to the four ethernet ports. I'll be able to have ALL my computers online at the same time! (Except why I'd ever want to put Ao-chan online is beyond me..)
Shiny, shiny wireless network.. I can go online with my DS from home! What luxury.
Ok, what should my next project be? Braving the small, but very dark, damp and spider-infested dungeon to turn down the heat on the water heater? Cleaning out the shed out back? Getting my mailbox up? Something else?
Still knitting every day. I've started on the shawl my grandmother wants. So far it's really easy, but I don't know what I'll do when I'm done knitting and have to crochet the edges - I don't know the first thing about crocheting.
I'm happy. Odessa is, well.. she's not unhappy, but she's complaining that I don't spend enough time with her. I'm going to be home a lot more once I have my internet connection. ^_^
