Monthly update.

Sorry. I talk all about my life on IRC, so this place doesn't see much action.

I am currently staying at my mom's place. I left home on Thursday to come to my Aniki's birthday on Friday, and I'm not quite sure when I'll be back, really. Odessa can take care of herself just fine, but she's probably wondering why I'm not coming home.

My back pain returned with a vengeance earlier this month, but I pulled through it with the help of some painkillers. Still, I have to be extra vigilant against laziness for a while.

I've only been here for four nights, and I miss home a lot already. I was so disoriented when I woke up and found myself not at home the first morning. "Oh yeah, that's right.. I took the train yesterday"

Chiron is acting up a bit. Openoffice will randomly just hang when I'm trying to open documents. Sometimes it'll let a smaller document load just fine, but not the larger ones or any spreadsheet. And I need those. Several other things are b0rked as well; I think I'll do a reinstall with a fresher version, once I'm back home. Wouldn't risk that here, where I have no other computer to fall back on in case something goes weird. I assume Sigmund's laptop works just fine, but mom's crappy desktop usually doesn't even boot until you've tried it 2d12 times.

There are a lot of mosquitoes here. Must be because of the small, still pond right by the house.

Still obsessed with AnimeRPG. Nashira is level 11 now. I'm quite pleased with how her powers are developing; not so much with her personality. She's just so unfriendly, and I never really intended for her to be like that. I have a frustratingly low degree of control over her emotions, which is fitting in a way, since she's partially based on myself, personality-wise.

Also have spent a great deal of time playing Animal Crossing on my DS, as well as a fair amount of XCom: Terror from the Deep under DOSBox.

Argh, it's July! June just drifted past and I barely even noticed. It was a wonderful month, and I will miss it.
