I'm not lost, I just don't know where I'm going.
But I'm determined to enjoy the journey.
Knitting and stuff.

First, the stuff.

Have (finally) purchased train tickets for my upcoming trip to my sister's wedding.

Going to Eivindvik tomorrow. Won't buy all that much in the way of groceries since I'm leaving in a week, and will be gone for a whole week too.

Then the knitting. I really love Ravelry. Just by lurking on the forums, I've learned a lot of things, particularly about sock yarns and why they aren't 100% wool. Have sorted my yarn stash into boxes: Pure wool, wool blends, bamboo blends, synthetics, and cotton. Then I have one ball of alpaca and one of mohair that refuse to be sorted into any of the established categories. (What IS mohair anyway? ::looks it up on Wikipedia:: Oh, hair from the angora goat. Got it.) I suppose they could go into the 'pure wool' box since they are pure animal fibers. Or maybe I'll get another box for 'other pure animal fibers', but it'd have to be a small one. So far I've only added the stuff from my wool blends box to my stash on Ravelry.

Have started the toe decreases on Pair 5 Sock 1 - it's going to be a left sock. I'm already thinking of my next pair of socks - going to try a toe-up variety, with self-striping yarn. I bought two skeins (each 100g, different colors) last time I was in Førde. Not sure if one will suffice for a whole pair since I like my socks a bit long. I still don't have a LJ icon for knitting posts. This must be remedied soon.. but right now I have way too much stuff to worry about. Important stuff. I'll probably just take some photos of some pretty yarn stabbed with a needle or two and iconify that.

100g should be enough, provided you're not trying to make knee socks.

I'm madamemonday on Ravelry as well. Feel free to add me.
