With all the crap my phone has put me through lately (not including the incident where I forgot my PIN and locked myself out and the unlock code my provider sent me in the mail did not work), I think it's time to replace it. It's five years old and getting rather unreliable. I need a phone I can go online with. The one-way communication I've had so far, by sending text messages to twitter, is worthless if it's not reliable.
After looking around for a while, I finally found the phone I believe I want.
The HTC Gratia. (Which is the European version of the Aria, apparently.) I want it despite the stupid name, because this is one of an extremely small minority of Android phones that come in green.Look at it. So pretty.
Con: It's not out yet.
Not sure if it has all the features I want - I don't even know what features I want. No idea what it will cost me, but it looks like it's not a high end phone and won't run me too much.
Do not know if I will be able to buy it from my current provider.
The upcoming release date fills me with dread that I won't be able to get it before the trip. Though, if by "November" they mean November the 1st, that shouldn't be a problem. The only store I can find it listed in lists it as being expected on the 1st.
Any reason why I should not get this phone? Does it have any horrible flaws? I notice the battery life isn't listed anywhere..
The camera does not have a flash - I don't know if I'll care. If I'm serious about taking a picture, I'll use a real camera, not my phone.
