I'm not lost, I just don't know where I'm going.
But I'm determined to enjoy the journey.

It was past noon when I got out of bed this morning. Took a few hours until I was ready to start cooking dinner, but once I had started, it was pretty easy. I had two chicken breasts I had thawed in the fridge overnight, ready-to-use refrigerated pizza dough, onion, garlic, shredded mozzarella, and a sachet of spicy Szechuan tomato sauce.

There were no leftovers.

Knitting a lot, mainly while watching Hinterland. Loving the Welsh accents.
Slow, hardly noticeable progress where cleaning the house is concerned. It's been cold and windy these past few days, and I have not been outside much.

Still not understanding the LJ ranking system. Mine's dropped again, the last two times. Someone else on the same page went up by just over four million points. As far as I could tell, they were an infrequent poster and had written one entry recently, which had not generated any comments. What do I have to do to make my ranking go up?! It's still below what it was on April the 1st, when I started posting daily.
The way it was dropping at first, then starting to rise again makes me inclined to think it might change depending on activity of the past week.

A bit nostalgic for the mid 00s. Lots of good anime made around that time. Thinking of re-watching some of my DVDs.. the ones I bought after watching the fansubs. The only anime DVDs I own that I haven't watched fansubs of are two or three that I wanted to watch, but got licensed right away, and I found the DVDs on sale. The whole thing has changed now, with streaming sites like Crunchyroll and.. what others are there? What I like about CR is that they stream outside of the US too. Might get myself a premium account at some point, probably after the summer. I want to make this a summer of reading, getting sunburns, and swimming. Hope the weather agrees with that.

Last summer, though.. the summer of fostering kittens. 2013 was a crap year overall, but at least I had kittens. I miss them.

The late 90's-mid 00's felt like the best era to watch anime overall. Though sites like Crunchyroll have made it so pirating isn't essential anymore like back then, and you can support their programming with ads (or a premium account).

And that pizza is pretty great food porn, no wonder it was consumed so quickly. :P
