I'm not lost, I just don't know where I'm going.
But I'm determined to enjoy the journey.
more about kitties.

I'm so not used to seeing myself smiling in the mirror.

Cats are doing better today. Although much of the day was spent lounging under furniture, in the evening they started coming out. I've been able to pet them all. I've even seen them playing with toys. Odessa's old Kitty Pi is being used frequently, and I've started knitting a new one.

I went looking through my stuff and found the small cache of cat food I saved in case of unexpected visitors [I handed over nearly all of the food I had with the last kittens and Mauleen], so now I have enough to last me until I can get to a grocery store, at least. Which will tide me over until I can get to Førde.

So, my life is mostly cats right now. Nothing wrong with that. ;) I have some photos, but I can't find my SD card reader right now. If I don't find it tomorrow, I'll just use my laptop, she has a built-in one.

Now that I'm finished with the Newsflesh trilogy, I can finally pick up watching The Walking Dead again. I don't like following multiple stories of similar genres or settings at the same time.. usually stick to reading one book at a time, or at most one fiction + one non-fiction. I really hope the Newsflesh series gets made into movies, or a TV series..

Sticking to books written by women this year isn't much of a challenge, but so far with only one exception, those women have all been white. So for my next read, I've picked up (the kindle edition of) N.K. Jemisin's The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. Only a chapter into it so far, pretty sure I'm going to like it.

I got that book to read over vacation, and ended up getting the other two in the series as well. The books are not perfect, but I liked them. I am a sucker for pretty world building, and those books certainly have lots of that.
